MUSEUM Directed by Joe Peregrine & Emma Tolley

About the play:
"Tina Howe’s Museum takes place on the final day of a group show of three fictional contemporary American artists being exhibited in a major metropolitan museum. Over the course of the day, some forty people walk through the show: art lovers, skeptics, foreigners, students, lost souls, fellow artists, and of course, museum guards. The play is about the movement and yearning of these people. This play is chaotic, witty, and absurd, filled with eccentric, reckless characters."

About the directors:
Joe Peregrine and Emma Tolley are Theatre performance majors at VCU and have been working together for 7 years. In the past, they have shared the stage together, collaborated to bring together a musical, and much more. Thanks to SALT (Shafer Alliance Labratory Theatre), Museum will be Joe and Emma's directing debut in collegiate theatre, and they are super excited to start this project!

From the directors:
We are hoping to reach our goal of $2500 to help pay for rights to the show, promotional material, and supplies and materials for the design team. Our vision is to completely transform the stage of Newdick theater to immerse our audience and performers into the modern art exhibit known as "The Broken Silence". With your help, we can bring this vision to life the weekend of October 14th-16th.

Thank you for checking us out!
Museum goes up October 14th @7:00pm, October 15th @7:00pm, and October 16th @2:00pm! We'll see you there!
