Jimmy and I are very fortunate to have the opportunity to join the Msuna walk to help raise money for the Victoria Falls Children’s Trust. It is a 126km walk, which is done over 4 days from Victoria Falls to Msuna, which is on the banks of lake Kariba. We are asking you to support this very worthwhile and needy cause.
Each year, many orphaned and underprivileged children in Victoria Falls are forced to drop out of school due to financial hardship. Without support, these bright young minds are denied not just the chance to learn, but the opportunity to dream, grow, and create a better future for themselves and their families.
The Victoria Falls Children’s Trust has been raising money for the last 13 years for 50 of these children. It is a non-profit organization and all the trustees volunteer equal amounts of time toward this very worthy cause. They do all the work for free enabling all the money collected to go to the children. Along with supplying the children with school fees and stationary for the school year they also to provide support to the children and their families by helping with food, medication, clothing and emotional support when needed.
