Colton School Science Field Trip

I'll let the kids tell you why you should donate:
“My favorite part was that there is a rainforest and animals and fish I have not seen before. I got to learn about them. Without your donation we wouldn’t have been able to go” Fernando 2013

Colton Middle School is a public school without money for field trips. Many of our students are economically disadvantaged. It is up to teachers to organize and fundraise or charge full price for tickets ($1946.00) and transportation costs ($7,828.60) for this annual trip to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. This is an amount that only a small portion of our 235 students and 40 parent chaperones can afford.
Most charitable organizations want to donate materials but not money for field trips. The kids need your help!
Thank you in advance!http://montereycountyschools.blogspot.com/2013/05/colton-students-learn-and-have-fun-at.html

More of their revelations:
“I really enjoyed watching the planetarium show. It felt like I was flying. I was learning and entertained at the same time. I will definitely remember this for the rest of my life”! - Jasmin
“I had fun beyond comparison to any other museum. I didn’t know that fish could get so big or what an earthquake felt like. Plus it was amazing how big the building was." Devin
