Hi! I decided to redo this intro because it doesn't fit the need anymore.

My name is Cody. I have a lovely family that consists of my wife, my twelve year old son, and our cats.

So, the story here is that I lost my job in December due to many factors outside of my control, so I had to get on unemployment, which essentially cut my income down by a thousand dollars a month. That would have been alright if my car hadn't died a week later, hampering my ability to find a job.

I did end up getting that issue fixed with my tax return, but it turned into a $1900 fix. I had another issue with my brakes not long after, which was around $600. All-in-all, it was an expensive time. I could have seriously used that money for other things.

In and amongst all of this, my landlord decided that, after us being here for ten years, to sell our property. To be fair, they did give us plenty of warning and were totally alright with me breaking my lease early, which ends on the 31st of this month (July). If I had found a new job, it would be alright and we could have saved over time, but that wasn't the case. I was still living off of just unemployment.

And now, I do have a job as of June 8th, which is good, but it has come one too late. I barely have the paystubs I need to be able to actually get a place and it just isn't paying enough for me to pay my current rent, bills, and all other expenses plus save for moving.

So this is where I need help. I had things lined up with community resources to help, but by the time I got my job, they all ran out of funding after talking to all of them recently. No help there, unfortunately. Which means I gotta go here, and I hate it. It has been such a rough time here for us and I just want to get through this final hurdle. If anything, just sharing will help. I know that I might not have enough time to get this done, but I have to try. Thank you so much! Really. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am that there are good people around me.
