Hallo ihr Lieben!

Dieses Jahr in Brockwood neigt sich dem Ende zu. Ich weiß echt nicht, wie ich am besten in Worte fassen soll, was mir die Zeit hier bedeutet. Es gibt mir das Gefühl, wirklich zu lernen – nicht nur im Sinne von Unterrichtsfächern, sondern über das Leben; über mich selbst; über Beziehungen zwischen Menschen und zu unserer Umwelt.

Was Brockwood so besonders macht, ist die Art, wie wir miteinander umgehen. Dadurch, dass die Lehrkräfte mich und alle anderen hier ernst nehmen (mit unseren Sorgen, Fragen, Bedürfnissen), kann ich aus meiner Komfortzone heraustreten und wachsen – und dann doch wieder in sichere Arme zurückkehren. Ich bin soooo unglaublich dankbar!!

Mir geht es hier einfach so viel besser, und ich habe ehrlich gesagt echt Angst davor, wieder ins deutsche Schulsystem zurück zu müssen.

Ich wünsche mir von Herzen, noch ein weiteres Jahr in Brockwood verbringen zu dürfen. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass es an diesem besonderen Ort noch sooo viel zu entdecken und zu lernen gibt …

Und tadaa, da richte ich mich wieder mal an euch tolle Menschen:

Wir haben ein Stipendium erhalten, müssen dennoch 20.000 Euro aufbringen, um mir einen Schulplatz für 2025/2026 zu finanzieren.

Hey everyone,

This year at Brockwood is coming to an end, and honestly, I don’t really know how to put into words what this time has meant to me. It’s given me the feeling of truly learning – not just school subjects, but about life; about myself; about relationships between people and with the world around us.

What makes Brockwood so special is the way we treat each other. Because the staff here take me – and everyone else – seriously (with our worries, questions, and needs), I’ve been able to step out of my comfort zone, grow, and still return to a safe and supportive space. I’m sooooo incredibly grateful!!

I feel so much better here, and honestly, I’m pretty scared of having to go back into the German school system.

More than anything, I wish I could spend another year at Brockwood. I feel like there’s still sooo much to explore and learn in this very special place...
