Hi!
We are a set of twins from BC, Canada and we were recently selected to represent Canada at the World Junior Ultimate Championships in Wroclaw, Poland.

We got into Ultimate in our grade 10 year, when we each got cut from seperate sports teams. We wanted to join a team where we could play together and meet new people in the process. Naturally, Ultimate was the perfect fit. We fell in love with the sport right away. The atmosphere was great and the people in it were even better.
Soon, we discovered the competitive side of Ultimate, as high school was more of a fun past-time to get the heart rate up and keep active. This came in the form of Vortex, a provincial team that competed at Nationals.

We were pushed to tryout by our coaches and to our surprise, we made the team. The team changed our outlook on Ultimate forever. We were hooked onto the sport and wanted to get better and help the team win as much as possible. We placed 5th in our first year of playing Vortex. The memories and friends we made that year are part of what kept us going and had us come back the next year. Our second year in 2015, we helped lead Vortex to a heartbreaking second place finish.

Now, our journey takes us to Team Canada, where we get to play alongside the ladies we once fought so hard against.
We're training harder than we've ever trained before, but the training and practices take a lot of time out of our day, and we all know: time is money. The money raised with this fundraiser will help us pay for our flights to training camps and Worlds, along with team fees.
Every little bit helps and will be much appreciated! :) Thank you soooo much!
