Around 3:00 PM on Friday February 16th 2018 I received a phone call from my mother panicking  that there were trees coming into her house. She rushes off the phone screaming that there is a mudslide happening right now! I get off the phone and I rush to my parents house. By the time I get there, the fire trucks are there. They have everything blocked off. They told us it is a total loss and we are unable to retrieve anything in the house.

The reason why we were not able to retrieive anything is because when the house started shifting, it broke the gas line in the house and the fire department was scared that the house was going to catch fire and blow up. So for our safety we were not allowed inside or near the home. We were only able to stand on the side of the road and literally just watch the house fall a part. The only thing that they were able to save were their three dogs.

My mother's car was in the garage and she lost that too. They told her if she went to get the car that the house would collapse. The basement wall is leaning on the car. So basically the car is holding up one of the falling walls and if the car is removed the whole house will crumble.

This house was their pride and joy. It is now gone due to mother nature. They have absolutely nothing.

My father came home from work and the only clothes he has are the clothes on his back. Which are his work clothes!

This disaster left my parents with nothing. They are the ones who you run to in any time of need and they are their for you, with no questions asked! Please give back if possible!

I am reaching out to anyone for assistance in this very hard time. 

You truly never know what each day will bring. My parents had no idea that today would be their last day they would ever be able to call their home, "home". Now they are without a home.
