Monument Assistance Program Fund
Your support, shares and donations will assist gravestone fraud victim families who never received their memorials from Monument Advisors of Grand Island, Nebraska and now have to pay other reputable companies for this long-overdue tribute to their loved ones.
Owner Kelli Lepler has now been arraigned in District Court on 45 criminal counts of Theft by Deception for taking money from victims who have not received their promised monuments for the past 3+ years. Just with those charges, victims have spent over $250,000 on memorial stones they will not be receiving. The total for all 70+ victims - some deemed to be civil - could be over $350,000.
The Memorial Assistance Program is not aimed at getting these stolen dollars back to the victims - that will be up to the criminal justice system.
These victims are now faced with an additional financial burden as they move forward to reorder or complete their headstone orders from different monument companies. Several reputable companies have stepped up to offer significant savings, delayed payment and expedited orders so grieving families can finally provide fitting tributes to their departed loved ones.
With GoFundMe we can help any victims who need financial assistance at this sad time of their lives. Thanks so much for your assistance and prayers!
