Community, one of our beloved friends is in a battle right now facing stage four follicular lymphoma. Whether you have worked with Monica in Horry Country, or Pee Dee Elementary, been blessed through student ministry with her and her husband Pastor James at Juniper Bay, or just spent 5 minutes with her in conversation, you know the joy and light she brings to those around her. Monica and her precious family have loved this community for a long time. Now is our opportunity to love them back.

We are asking for all of our prayer warriors to come together to help in three specific ways.

1. PRAY - As Monica battles this cancer, and the Mew family walks this journey, we know they do not do it alone. Please dedicate time each day, to pray for Monica, James, and their precious children.

2. GIVE - During this battle, Monica will be receiving treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. This is a HUGE blessing but obviously brings with it many challenges as well. We are calling on this amazing community to rally and give to help cover and offset the medical costs, airfare to Houston, travel expenses, and any loss of income as Monica is in treatment. There are MANY unexpected costs that have and will continue to rise, and we want to give back, whatever we can, to a family who has given so much to so many. I have set the "goal" at $1. Please give what you can and let's love on them, however much we can raise to help with these costs.
