Stop Hunger Now

As many of you know, I am involved in a Monday night bible study group.  This group has become my family.  If I can say one thing about this family it is that they know how to REALLY love others.  

We are trying something new for our group this fall.  Every year our church (Lakewood United Methodist Church) has a weekend of service.  This September our group has chosen to take on hunger with Stop Hunger Now.  We need to raise $3,000.00 in order to prepare 10, 000 meals on our day of service. 

I cannot imagine what it is like to feel hungry all the time, especially because I think that food is my "love language."  Please help us help others!  Any help is GREAT help!

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me...
