Dear family and friends,
Yesterday, i lost the most important person in my life. My heart...my strength...my mother. She suffered a heart attack after surviving her 4th stroke.
Most of you are aware about my trip to the philippines back in April. After 12 year of not seeing her, I finally made it back home. My dream of showing her a taste of good life and helping her finish the last steps of her citizenship process was put on hold. My mission to get her here to the US became a quest for her comfort. My month vacation was making sure she get proper care and treatment. I was very blessed to have spent time with her see her. See her laugh, cry, sleep and even get angry for the last time. We were seeing progress until last month when she was rushed to the hospital for an emergency blood transfusion. She was released from the hospital couple of weeks ago. Saturday night, she was experiencing chest pain and had to be rushed to the hospital again. But this time, she never made it back home.
Bills has been pilling up between medicine, hospital stay, and home expenses. Being far away from home make it even more tough.
My entire family back home have been very loving and supportive throughout this period. Although life is tough back home, we have always managed to find our way through the darkness with the help and love from our friends and family.
My MTA family was very understanding and gave me time off even after taking a month vacation to be with my mother.
At this time, i am reaching out again to all of you for help. My mom's burial is scheduled to be this sunday July 26. My goal is to see her before she's completely gone and hopefully hold her for the last time. I couldn't ask for anything else in this world. I need all your help in anyway possible.
Thank you in advance. You are all appreciated!
