Help Me Keep My Children Safe in Our Home

Dear kind reader,

Thank you for reading my story. I am a mother of two, trying to build a safe life for my children. I work hard, but with only €1,000 a month, I cannot cover rent and basic needs. Here, I feel invisible like so many working mothers doing everything right and still struggling to survive.

I cannot return to my country due to the violence, and staying here without support feels overwhelming. The only help I have received has come from kind people I once worked with in Minnesota, thousands of miles away. Their support has meant everything to us. I never imagined I would ask for help, but today I am reaching out in hope of finding kind hearted angels who can help us keep going. I live with dysthymia, which makes everyday life more challenging, but I keep going for my children.
