Bone Cancer With Moly The Greyhound
*15 months cancer free and we believe it was due in part to this amazing vaccine*
*Sadly, Moly has developed a metastatic tumor in her chest wall which would require a chest resection to remove. While this is an option, it would be a scary and potentially painful one. Right now, we plan to focus on radiation and chemo to slow the growth and give her as pain free a life as we can*
Here is a great article about how research with our osteosarcoma pups can help make breakthroughs with human kiddos with bone cancer. https://www.aaha.org/publications/newstat/articles/2019-02/breakthrough-bone-cancer-vaccine-for-dogs-could-help-humans-
If we exceed our needs, we will be donating the excess to Greyhound Angel's, an amazing nonprofit rescue that introduced us to her.
Moly the Greyhound was diagnosed with bone cancer on 5/9/19. Moly is a blood donor, a therapy dog, a retired racer, a sister (she's friends with her littermate Spider!), a surrogate mom (she raised her GSD brother, Jager), a furry cousin, an ambassador for her breed and has the softest ears that ever existed. Please help us help her.
