On May 30, Molly suffered a severe concussion from a car wreck. Since then, Molly has been unable to work since the accident due to debilitating symptoms. She has exhausted all medical leave and has been dependent on donated leave. Extensive, ongoing treatments have included neurology interventions and speech, vision, and physical therapies. She is unable to drive at night and regularly requires earplugs, sunglasses, and breaks in order to engage in social activities.
Molly’s neurologist has concluded Cognitive FX specialty clinic in Utah is her best treatment option in light of the very slow gains she has made with a tremendous amount of intervention and therapies. Cognitive FX is highly specialized and reputable, boasting results of 77% to baseline and 94% symptom reduction. Understandably, it comes at quite a cost, not covered by insurance.
