Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we hope it will inspire you to help if you are able and feel compelled to do so. The news story regarding this devastating situation is attached, and obviously paints enough of a picture to illustrate the reasons why this family needs as much love and support as anyone should ever require in the course of a lifetime.
On June 27, the most horrific and tragic event imaginable for any parent - or person - occured. During a family vacation in Arizona, a semi truck struck the RV/motor home carrying the Mohtadi and Escandon families and killed two 13-year-old boys (cousins): Cyrus Mohtadi and Djivan Escandon.
The Department of Public Safety officials said the commercial vehicle (semi) was traveling westbound on SR 98 near milepost 332 when it drifted off the edge of the road. The 25-year-old driver overcorrected and ran his truck across the centerline, colliding with the family's motor home, which was carrying four adults and four children.
DPS said the semi truck struck the motor home with significant force, tearing it open and injuring everyone inside. In addition to the devastating loss of the two boys' lives, six of the family members were also transported to the hospital for treatment. News Story

This family's journey to recovery is only just begining, and will no doubt be strenuous enough for anyone to bear without having to worry about the inevitable financial backlash that an event of this magnitude udoubtedly creates.
This entire family is composed of the most loving, giving and humble people you would ever know, and we ask that you contribute as much as you are able - to help with the immediate and ongoing costs (hospital fees, out-patient and counseling treatments for multiple family members), travel expenses (6+ family members to/from the sight of of the crash), etc.
The darkness we are experiencing today because of this tragic event seems inevitable and difficult to face, however, the support of friends and human beings touched by this story is the brightness we all need to move foward from here. Thank you for your continued love and prayers for the family.
