انا لله وانا اليه راجعون
Our beloved Mohamed Bashir Ali left the world this Thursday morning October 14, 2021 at just 25 years old and we are asking you to support his family and his mother during these difficult times. Mohamed lost his father and the head of their household due to cancer only a month ago. After burying his father in Sudan, Mohamed came back to the U.S last week working hard to financially support his mother, who is currently still in Sudan grieving the loss of her husband. In addition to his mother, Mohamed also leaves behind an older brother. We are asking for your help to support this family that has endured a lot of pain in a short amount of time.
My name is Mohamed Hussein, and I’ve been Mohamed’s closest friend since were kids. No words can express the pain we are going through right now. Mohamed is known to most for his kind heart and the way his smile lights up every room he walks in. He is loved by so many in our community and has touched the hearts of many people. He is the kind of person who is always there when someone needs help regardless of who they are and does so never expecting anything in return. He had a passion for serving his community and has been a tutor and mentor for many others. Mohamed graduated from UNC Chapel hill in 2018 and had dreams of one day becoming a lawyer and making his parents proud. He was looking forward to getting married soon, having kids, and starting a family of his own. It breaks our hearts that he will not live to achieve his dreams and we will miss he very much, but we will continue to honor his memory.
All your contributions will be given directly to his brother and mother to cover funeral expenses, travel expenses, and living expenses for the family in the upcoming period. No contribution is ever too small. We appreciate any help that you provide. May God bless you and your families.
“O Allah, forgive Mohamed and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.”
