So many of us have benefited from Rabbi Klapper's deeply sensitive Torah and midot tovot in many different contexts. As hakarat ha-tov to all that he has done, let's get together to help support the Center for Modern Torah Leadership.
In particular, let's support a new program, the CMTL Educator's Fellowships in Halakhic Process. Each Fellowship will fund an educator to work together with Rabbi Klapper to design a curricular unit teaching students to understand and appreciate halakhah as a system that welcomes their intellectual creativity and ethical challenges while developing their humility and yirat shamayim.
Each Fellowship costs $3000 and I want us to raise that amount in the next 24 hours! Let's get one Fellowship off the ground and work for more.
