My name is TAKA, a 28-year-old artist from Japan.

The name of my art is "MOBILESENTO."

SENTO means a traditional Japanese bath.

Mobile-Sento means a Moving-Bath.

At the age of 23, I built a DIY truck and built this "SENTO"(Bath) on top of it.

Over the past five years, I have traveled all over Japan in this vehicle, offering the bath as an artistic expression to people.

This MOBILESENTO heats water on a wood stove in the traditional Japanese style.

Whether it is cherry blossoms in spring, hot summer, autumn leaves in fall, or freezing winter, I have always kept this water boiling for more than 2 hours every time.

Some days I would do baths as footbaths in the middle of the big city of Tokyo (Shibuya),

And other days I would give baths to families in rural Japanese villages.

In front of the bath, everyone can smile without exception. It is one of the happy cultures that Japan is proud of.

I do not charge a fee for bathing and have continued my journey entirely through my job savings and donations from people who have experienced this art.

And now, five years after starting MOBILESENTO, I have crossed the ocean from Japan to come here to fulfill my longtime dream in the world.

I will build this MOBILESENTO in the world anew from scratch and make people all over the world smile with Japanese baths.
