Seventy-one days.
That’s how long it took to rescue Wally.
For 71 days, I tracked him, learned his routine, and helped assemble a large humane Missy Trap to bring him to safety. That trap changed his life FOREVER.
Today, Wally sleeps on my sofa, goes to swimming lessons, gets pup cups, and has become an ambassador for rescue. Every day, he reminds me what one humane trap made possible… but not every frightened dog gets that chance.
Since Wally’s rescue, families with missing pets and people trying to help frightened stray dogs have reached out to me asking the same question:
“Can you help?”
Too often, my answer has been:
“I wish I could.”
The Missy Trap that saved Wally wasn’t mine. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe with a goal of $1,000 to build my own Missy Trap and Raytripper, to help rescue lost pets and stray dogs throughout our community.
