MISSY the cat.
Meow hello... my name is Missy and I was born in Taos, New Mexico. My mama found me in a box with 2 little girls at a parade which said FREE KITTY. She picked me up and said "I'm going to name her Missy". She kissed me, took me to McDonalds for water and drove me to Colorado to my brand new forever home where I have been very happy with Kelly, my brother!
But I am very sick now and mama noticed something was wrong! I started throwing up alot and started finding blood in my throwup!
The Pet ER discovered I had lost a lot of blood. I received a blood transfusion, an endoscopy, a biopsy on my stomach and an ultrasound. My mama came to say goodbye with tears in her eyes, gave me a hug and said I will miss you for now! The Dr. discovered I have Lymphoma and doesn't know how much time I have. He said it could be 3-6 months, could be longer or I might even go into remission. They started giving me steroid injections to help me every other week. The Dr. said to keep in contact and let him know how I am doing. For now mama and I fight every day about taking medicine. I don't like it but I know I need it to get better. I am trying to get better and we are praying I will. Thank you for remembering me and my mama in your prayers.
My mama lives alone and is older with walking problems. My medical bills are high and we are hoping some miracle can happen to help me!
I am only 6 years old and I have so many more years of love to give and receive. The best Christmas I could give my mama is to be here for her and not leave her alone. Thank you for anything you can do to help us!
