Fair&competent legal representation for Minnie

Hi, my name is Laura Kang and I am fundraising to help my friend Minnie Sawant Dear obtain fair and competent legal representation during the custody trial for her son Mateo and her divorce trial. This money will be used to give Minnie a fighting chance and to pay the retainer fees of an experienced trial lawyer.

I met Minnie in 2010 when we were going to school together. She is generous, kind almost to a fault, responsible, and extremely hardworking. She married a few years ago and had a little boy Matteo, who is the light of her life. For the last year Minnie has been fighting to divorce Mateo's father and the process has been emotionally and financially devastating. It has finally reached trial but Minnie is struggling to afford the lawyer needed to be fairly represented in court after the drain of the last year. Unfortunately, without a competent lawyer the odds of a fair outcome are poor.
