Would you please join me in donating much-needed hotel room nights for those on the front lines of the COVID-19 fight?
We're expecting the demand to grow exponentially over the coming weeks so please consider how you might help these selfless servants!
Many nurses and other health care professionals (HCPs) are placing themselves at great risk to care for Minnesotans with COVID-19, and some of them cannot return home in the short-term due to the danger it presents for family members with underlying health conditions.
We've made arrangements with 28 hotels in the Twin Cities and Rochester who've agreed to provide rooms for at-cost rates of $55-$70 per night.
Will you please consider a $55-$70 donation to provide a good night's sleep for one of these dedicated professionals?
Your gift will enable these HCPs to get the rest they need so they can continue to care for our fellow Minnesotans with COVID-19, and do so without creating more risk for their family members.
**ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of your donation will go towards paying for the hotel room nights with zero administrative costs (less 2.9% GoFundMe fee), and we will be partnering with the Minnesota Nurses Association to help direct the free room nights to the HCPs in need.
I'm donating the first 90 room nights with a goal of raising 500 (or more) room nights.
