Minick Children College Fund

While our mother laid in the hospital bed battling her cancer this week, she looked both Alexis and Taylor in the face and said, "You better graduate." She spoke in that 'I'm your bossy mother and what I say goes' kind of tone that we each know so well.

Nicole "Nikki" Minick, maiden name Shanahan, is coming up on year 3 in her fight against cancer. She is our rock, our secrect keeper, and our biggest fan.  And at no surprise to those who know her, she's never had a green thumb. Every plant that has come into her posession, she has killed. We laugh at the memories and continue to tease her because... well, you know Nikki. 

We ask that in lieu of flowers during this difficult time, you donate to "The Minick Children's College Fund." It's what she would want, and as she would say, "I'd probably kill them anyway!"

At my father's request the money will be managed by myself, Lauren Minick as the oldest sibbling. The money will be sent directly to the schools at the appropriate times. 

We are grateful for every donation big or small. Thank you to all of those who follow our journey and continue to shower our family with love and support. God has blessed us.
