Mi nombre es Viviana Brizuela, y hoy les escribo desde lo más profundo de mi corazón como abuela. Mi nieto menor, Milo, de tan solo 3 añitos, está enfrentando un desafío que ningún niño debería vivir. Ha sido diagnosticado con hipertrofia adenoidea, reducción de las vías aéreas y amígdalas severamente agrandadas para su edad.

Esto le está afectando gravemente su respiración, su sueño, su desarrollo… y su alegría. Milo no puede dormir bien. Se despierta jadeando por aire, y su cuerpecito se esfuerza cada día para hacer algo tan simple como respirar. Los médicos nos han dicho que una operación es urgente para evitar que su condición se deteriore aún más.

Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para cubrir los gastos médicos, pero los costos de la cirugía, exámenes, medicación y post-operatorio exceden nuestras posibilidades actuales. Es por eso que hoy, con humildad y esperanza, pedimos tu ayuda.

Urgent Help for Milo: A Surgery That Could Change His Life

My name is Viviana Brizuela, and today I’m writing to you from the deepest part of my heart—as a grandmother. My youngest grandson, Milo, who is only 3 years old, is facing a challenge no child should ever go through. He has been diagnosed with adenoid hypertrophy, airway narrowing, and severely enlarged tonsils for his age.

This is seriously affecting his breathing, his sleep, his development… and his joy. Milo cannot sleep well. He wakes up gasping for air, and his little body struggles every day to do something as simple as breathe. The doctors have told us that surgery is urgently needed to prevent his condition from worsening.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to cover the medical expenses, but the cost of the surgery, exams, medications, and post-operative care exceeds our current means. That is why today, with humility and hope, we ask for your help.
