Hi, my name is Alex Jaakobs and I am a boy scout in Troop 1776 in Neshanic, NJ. Our sponsoring organization is the Neshanic Reformed Church who owns the Mill Lane Cemetery. Mill Lane Cemetery is located at the intersection of Mill Lane and East Mountain Road Hillsborough, Somerset County ,New Jersey. The cemetery holds approximately 200 gravesites, all dating back to the 1800's and many are US Army veterans. As you can see in the picture attached, the gravestones are in desperate need of repair and cleaning. My Eagle project, which is approved by the Neshanic Reformed Church (the beneficiary), is to repair and clean a select number of tombstones. The scope of the work will be determined by the amount of funding I can obtain.
