Milk & Honey Cafe - coffee shop coming to Lima, NY

Christy Harrington is celebrating her 50th birthday on January 13th and to
celebrate, I want to invite you to help launch her dream to open Milk & Honey
Cafe! For more than 30 years Christy has dreamed of opening a coffee shop in her hometown of Lima, NY, in order to create a place where friends & neighbors can
connect over a curated coffee experience & a bite to eat, without having to make
the drive into Rochester to have that experience.
With so many challenges that have interrupted people's routines & created a very polarizing dynamic in our world, now seems like the perfect time to set Christy’s
vision in motion & create a place where people can be reminded of how deeply
good it is to connect in simple ways amidst the daily rhythms of life & to create
intentional community.  Her hope is that Milk & Honey Cafe will be a place where you feel like she was thinking of YOU when she designed it and created the menu because it's TRUE! Christy is working to develop a simple menu that brings             delight to everyone and provides options that everyone will enjoy including those with varying dietary needs.  

In order to make this gathering place a reality in our community, we need to
purchase the equipment and renovate the storefront for the cafe. In celebration
of Christy’s 50th birthday I want to invite friends, family, and neighbors to
consider making a contribution towards the most important pieces of equipment- the heart ❤️ of the coffee shop- the espresso machine and the coffee grinders.

These workhorses carry a heavy price tag but thanks to a friend in the industry
willing to extend to us his wholesale pricing, we are able to purchase them for 
about $8,500-  which is approximately half of what they’d normally cost. 

Yes, I realize it’s a bit unconventional to ask for help like this but I want to
invite you to be a part of celebrating Christy’s birthday in a way that will be
profoundly meaningful to her and will help accelerate the timeline of bringing this new business to our community. With the year we have all been living through,
we could all benefit from Milk & Honey Cafe making life a little sweeter for everyone!
