Mile High BMX-Performance Guarantee
Donation protected
Mile High BMX is a non-profit 501C3 that has cleared all hurdles to place a UCI specification BMX track at the Schaefer Athletic Complex in Lakewood Colorado.
This round of fund raising is specifically to acquire a Performance Guarantee from Jefferson County.
This will in turn allow for track & facility build to get underway.
Thanks to the extended efforts over the last 5 years from our many volunteers we've already got licensing, insurance, site surveys, grading permit, lease from the Foothills Park & Recreation district for the land to build, county approval and engineering drainage report for the watershed in place.
Jefferson county requires this Performance Guarantee held in escrow to start this project. Mile High BMX Board members were able to negotiate this down to $15,000.
All funds raised during this first round will be used to secure this required Performance Guarantee.
Getting all permits and infrastructure in place for this project has been a huge effort over the last 6 years. Now that the infrastructure is in place we're seeking funds to get started. The Mile High BMX Board members are committed to the success of this project and bringing a first class track to the Denver Metro area.
Our Goal is to begin the Track build in May/June 2016.
Thank you for your donation!
Spreading the joys of the sport of BMX and providing a world class amenity to Colorado riders is Mile High BMX's mission.
We take it as our responsibility to promote the sport that has given each of us so much.
