My name is Mike Im 30 years old and Im attempting to raise $10000 for my parents so they dont lose our home.  My father was diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer on his head that was pushing into his brain and wrapping around his arteries in his neck and it was preceeded with about 50 lbs of weight loss to the point where he looked like a holocaust survivor, he almost died right when he began his treatment.  He was forced to quit the little job he had and he can barely do anything including eat due to radiation treatment, my mother is diagnosed with severe PTSD from an accident years ago and severe anxiety and is unable to work. Their benifits just wont kick in fast enough due to red tape and because my father was working class for 40 years he didnt have much of a retirement if any when his job went under years ago. Im always helping with money this and that and family has been good helping get him to his treatments and such. They informed me recently the bank said they have two years on their mortage and owe 14k but they are currently behind 3k and in 90 days they will loose our home if its not paid. My father and mother never milked the system always paid their way if bills fell behind they made sacrifices and when I was younger and lived there I made them too to help as much as I could even when I was a kid. I dont have the money out right to give them and I doubt anyone does, but I dont think its right that two people who paid so much into the system are in trouble of loosing their home when my father is deathly sick and recovering because of the severity of his cancer and treatment and my moms inability to even leave the house let alone be at a stressful job. Its been a hard life for them nothings easy for anyone but they always did their best to be great people and the community here knows them and they would agree. I just want to save their home our home odds are they have paid in twice as much as it was even for sale for when I was little in the first place and they have two years left its just so in human and unacceptable for me and I need to do something. Anything over what they need to stay in their home will go to pay down their principal and allow them to take care of themselves for once. So please donate its a good cause, the picture above was right as he was getting sick he is down about 40 lbs from that. Remember there is a donation fee they take out so thats also why im asking for 10k I just hope this gets out that a local bank is willing to put two sick one finishing cancer treatment (in their mid sixties I might add) on the st when they have already made their money at this point its just not right.
