Hi, my name is Mike O'Phee. I am a solo musician and one fifth of the group 'MicLordz & Sauce Funky', and I believe that MUSIC CAN CHANGE THE WORLD. Below is a bit of my story and how I plan to put that belief into action.

I began writing music in 1996, started recording and performing live in 2000, and became a national touring artist by 2008 with the band 'MLSF'.  I have been fortunate to fulfill many dreams and aspirations since beginning my journey as a career musician, in large part due to the support of others.  Now it is time that I give back, with the same tenacity and heart that I have always put into my music.    

I have a brand new album set to be released in April, and I have decided to dedicate this entire musical project to charity.  I’m not interested in raising money to cover recording, production, or manufacturing costs.  I would like the proceeds to go towards something that is near and dear to me.  Baseball.   

Baseball is a great team sport where kids make long-lasting friendships, overcome challenges, learn new skills, and gain self-confidence.  It is my goal (let’s make it our goal) to provide less fortunate children the opportunity to play a season of baseball.  The money raised in this campaign will give these kids that opportunity. 

Baseball starts in April, the same month I release my album 'Clairvoyance'.  Please help me raise enough money to put 4 kids (because my Mom had four children) on a diamond fully registered, with jersey, pants, cup, spikes, hat, and glove. Registration and sizing for the gear has to be in by early April, so I have set a deadline to raise $2000 by March 31, 2016. 

A minimum donation of $15 will get you an mp3 version of my album 'Clairvoyance' on the day of its release.  I will also send you the mp3 version of my previous album 'Colors' on the day you make your donation. 

Here's the breakdown of where 100% of the donations go:
 

Registration (includes Jersey and hat) - $120 (per child)

Glove - $60 (per child)

Pants - $23 (per child)

Spikes - $60 (per child)

Cup/Jill - $25 (per child)
 

* Team Sponsor - $400 (this will include a 'Music Can Change The World' logo on the back of a team’s jerseys)
 

* Ball Diamond Sponsor - $250  (This will include a 'Music Can Change The World' logo behind home plate at one of the little league ball diamonds)
