Mike Darby fire relief fund

If you live in Baltimore, you probably know Mike Darby. If you live in Fells point, you definitely know Mike Darby. He is a local musician who plays regularly all over the neighborhood, and just an all-around friendly, good -natured, great guy! He also had the most incredible apartment on the top floor of a big old building on the corner of Eastern and Broadway, with giant windows and its own cupola. For years Darby has regularly hosted giant, awesome parties in this space, because it was such a fantastic spot, so if you live in the neighborhood chances are you've been there for one. Yesterday at around 1:00 p.m. the cupola was engulfed in flames, which moved across the roof and eventually destroyed pretty much his entire apartment and everything he owns. He was able to rescue his two cats and they are all safe which is of course the most important part but he is going to need help to get back on his feet. When COVID happened he and our friend Nick surprised me and did a fundraiser for me, playing a show online and asking for donations because they knew I would be in trouble as someone in the service industry; aside from the financial help I was so touched that they would even think to do that- but he cares about everybody and would help anyone out, so I'm asking if you have a few dollars to spare could you please help me help him? He has to replace everything he had, except for the many things that were irreplaceable: ( let's give a hand to the guy who would always give a hand to you if you needed it! ❤️
