Greetings all, we have decided to start a GoFundMe fundraiser to assist Michelle Theall Landeche, our dear friend/family member. For those who do not know she has two wonderful children, Peyton (13) and Riley (12). On the evening of November 2nd, while at home, Michelle suffered a brain aneurysm. Fortunately, her brave daughter contacted her grandparents and aunt right away. They rushed her to the hospital for urgent medical care. Without this urgency, we do not believe she would be fairing as well as she is today!!
Michelle is in ICU and will remain there until the medical team is able to remove her drain, able to control her pain and blood pressure. Michelle had just started a brand new career, working with a cardiology team at Touro this same day. She was ecstatic about her new job! Due to this very unfortunate event, she doesn’t have any accrued sick or vacation time and her insurance is still pending. As a result, this will prove to be a hardship on her and her children.
Anyone who knows Michelle, knows that she is an incredible nurse, not just to her patients but also their family. Her intelligence, dedication and sincere concern for the health and well-being is inspiring. It is with no surprise that without hesitation, she joined the staff in the COVID ICU at the onset of the pandemic.
Michelle is very strong, independent mother who has always worked extremely hard to give her children a wonderful life. Any donation would help tremendously with the mounting expenses she already has and will incur over the next several weeks and months. As much as she would prefer not to need the help, we want to lessen the financial burden and allow her to focus on the healing process. Let’s all pitch in to help this incredible woman that so tirelessly helps others.
