Michelle Wesley moved young Stella into Maplewood some six years ago - she quickly made the Village her own. From store keepers to locals to visitors, just about anyone who comes into Maplewood has met Stella as she walks/waddles up & down the street. Sadly Stella has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her hind leg........options are slim: amputation is unlikely as her other hind leg may not be able to support her - which leaves us with chemotherapy or an experimental drug trial. What we do know unfortunately is the estimated cost - anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000
