Michelle Ferguson Murray-Newnan Tornado Relief

On Thursday evening a tornado tore through the sweet town of Newnan, Ga. Many were safe but this family was in danger. Michelle Ferguson’s house was demolished by trees. Luckily the kids Ben and Emily were not home for that night. Michelle was alone with her two precious dogs and kitty. Everyone made it out safe and alive, but now they have no home, beds, furniture, toys, clothes etc.  The laundry room and kitchen were smashed by a tree so hundreds of dollars of groceries and clothes are covered in debris and had to be thrown away. Michelle and Caleb cleared out what they could this weekend and rented a storage unit. They have a hotel paid for through the middle of the week. If you don’t know Michelle was the Store Manager at Helzberg Diamonds. She had this position  for ten years and has worked incredibly  hard to reach the level of success she achieved. Unfortunately due to Corona the store was closed in February and Michelle was without a job. She had just started a new job in Snellvile the week before the Tornados. She was preparing to move somewhere closer to work but not this soon. Many have offered to help. The answer is YES! They need it all. New beds, furniture, clothes, anything to rebuild your life is needed. Any amount you can donate is a help. This family needs us and as a community we can help them get back on their feet. Starting over is hard enough but losing everything in a Tornado with two toddlers. Oy vey! 

She has reached out to the Salvation Army and Red Cross for assistance but that takes time.
