The evening of the 23rd of July was to be a memorable night for Michele Tarr and her daughter Mikayla. They headed towards an evening at the waterslides in celebration of the fact that her daughter could finally partake in sliding because her daughter had finally become seizure free after many years and Michele didn't need to come to her rescue any longer.

They had intended on replacing bad memories with happy ones on this evening as Michele over the years never got to see her daughter enjoy what most take for granted. However that was not the case. Mikayla's mom, Michele, suffered a broken neck and banged up body. Michele was fortunate in the fact that she did not become paralyzed, however the length of time for recovery is estimated at 3 months which includes wearing her neckbrace during this time. Unfortunately, the cost of living will greatly affect the needs she has to afford the basics in life. Michele has for years made her career as an Education Assistant and Supported Childcare Worker.

She is one of the kindest people I know. Her heart is so big that she gave a van away to a family who really needed a vehicle instead of selling it and has always had a pay it forward attitude. If you can help her with living costs during this time she would be eternally grateful!
