This past December doctor's found a large mass in Michael's chest and diagnosed it as a rare cancer.

Our oncologists recommend we do two aggressive chemo  courses in Hawaii to shrink the tumor as much as possible and then head to MD Anderson's in Houston, Texas  for a major surgical resection as well as a 7-8 weeks of radiation.

Our team of doctor's here at Queens and at MD Anderson's are super optimistic about Mike's prognosis-it's just a matter of going through the motions.

We will be in Houston for around three months and won't be able to work while Mike heals. We would also like to run genetic tests that our insurance doesn't cover to help determine treatment for his rare cancer.
