It's that time of year again and I’ll be cycling 100km in Tour de 4 2026 on Sep 6th with Chris and countless others on a route that leaves the Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow and heads off to the Campsies via the Tak Ma Doon climb and ends up back at the Velodrome.
As most of you will know, Td4 is the cycling event launched by Sir Chris Hoy following his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis. It brings together people living with Stage 4 cancer, alongside friends, families and supporters, to ride side by side and raise vital funds.
The event is about showing that a diagnosis does not define a person, and highlighting what life with Stage 4 cancer can look like: strength, resilience and determination.
It's a great event and shows the absolute love and generosity we are all capable of and is now a permanent fixture in my cycling calendar.
Together we will help reach Chris’s goal of beating last year's £3m+ for cancer charities. With your generosity reaching my target will help Chris reach his.
All funds raised will go to charities supporting people affected by Stage 4 cancer, and once again I'm raising money for Ayrshire Cancer Support.
Last year you all helped me raise an awesome £2000, this year with your help I want to raise an even awesomer £5000.
If you’re able to donate or share my fundraiser, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Every contribution helps provide vital support and care.
Can't wait to ride and can't wait to see us all smash last year's total.
