We have some exciting news to share! As of course you already know, our family has been through a nearly unbelievable journey over the past 22 months. We have felt the absolute depths of hopelessness, we have experienced the complete joy and peace that only Jesus has to offer…and everything else in between. God has clearly given us a story to tell and we will do nothing less than give Him the glory for everything he has accomplished throughout this journey!

April of last year (2021), about six months after Mia’s injury, I really felt that the Spirit was encouraging me to begin writing our family’s story. So I just started writing - with no ‘endgame’ in mind. It was so helpful in processing my thoughts as I wrestled with everything that transpired since October 29th, 2020. I wrote steadily for about 8 months…but as time went on, I really felt like God was leading me to pursue the project further. Without going into too much detail, I was clearly led to Redemption Press Publishing, based out of Washington State. After a few conversations with them and sending over my manuscript, they expressed great interest in the story!!

Through much prayer and a big leap of faith, we have signed a contract with Redemption Press to publish a book about how God has worked in our lives throughout our journey! Redemption Press is a ‘hybrid publisher’ - which requires us to fund the book. Hybrid publishing offers many benefits over traditional publishing, and we recognized that we needed help from professionals to make this come to fruition. Within the contract, Redemption Press covers the Development of the book (Author Coaching, Editing, Proofreading, etc.), Design of the book, Project Management, and Distribution & Marketing. Redemption is a well-established Christian publishing company that desires to glorify God in every product that they publish. We are honored to trust them with our story!

This is where we had to take a giant leap of faith! We chose to trust that God would help provide the funds to complete this project. We are asking, if you feel led, to help us as we are on pace to have the book completed by next summer! We are asking for a total of $15,000 to help us with the costs of the book.
