Meredith's bone marrow transplant
Donation protected
My daughter, Meredith Crumb, had ALL Leukemia 9 years ago. After a year off and on in the hospital with side effects to the chemo like pancretitis, iliytis, an much more. The doctors admit now none of them expected her to live. But she did! She would call the doctor every year on her birthday to thank him.
After the nine year remission the ALL Leukemia has come back. She was in the hospital a month and a half trying a newly approved immuniotherapy and the side effects that went with that--severe headaches, pain, and nausea. Yesterday she found out it didn't work and she went back to the hospital today for extreme chemo therapy. If that kills all the cancer cells this time, she could have a bone marrow transplant. A big problem is they have spent all their money--she is 56--and need to sell their house because although it is not paid off, there is profit in it. She was in the process of fixing it up to make it ready for sale when she got sick again. She needs the money to hire professionals to do electrical and plumbing and flooring work--much of the other work has been done by wonderful volunteers. She has always helped others to the point of taking in homeless people--I told her she was paying it forward. Now she needs the money to hire professionals and begin paying the huge medical bills that are piling up. She has four children and No. 8 grandchild on the way. She is fighting so hard and bravely to live to play with her grandchildren and help them--she home-schooled her own children. We would all be so grateful. She is my only daughter and my husband is in a nursing home with Alzheimers. We all love her so much. Please help.
