Mental health, the impact of Covid & confinement

I am an independent filmmaker based in Dakar, Senegal. 
Just like a lot of other people around the world COVID hit my business pretty hard and put a hole in my finances and projects, I mostly worked on music videos, commercials and corporate stuff and just like you i have been through confinement with all its ups and downs. but what i thought was catastrophic was actually a blessing in disguise because it allowed me to really think about myself, what i want to do in life and the impact i want to leave in this world.  I decided that i wouldn't wait for contracts, I want to create!
Today that creativity manifests itself through a series of short films  to tell the stories of different people around the world anchored on the impact of confinement and Covid on mental health and to bring awareness. I had already started doing mini videos of different profiles of people but it was mostly for fun and now is the time for me to push myself beyond my comfortable zone. 
I honestly hope that this project helps a lot of people around the world see that they're not alone. I want to help and do my part the way i know best, hoping it'll have an impact on even one person i will gladly take. 
I am going to be taking the stories of different persons and bring them to life. any kind of help would be amazing and the fact that there is a platform like GoFundMe is already amazing. I hope that anybody reading this feels my enthusiasm and your help would mean the world and i cant wait to show all of you the final products. 
This funding will help start the project and at least get one ready, hopefully you all will love it and participate even more so we can finish the  series and make a difference around the world, together!
