In Loving Memory of Hanna Lucille
Donation protected
My twin sister struggled on and off, for years, with addiction. On May 7, 2014 Hanna suddenly passed away from an overdose. No one was hit harder than me; her best friend. This past year has been nothing but a struggle for me... Every day is hard to get through.
10 months later, my Mom & I have finally been able to start thinking about a memorial for Hanna. She rests at Greenwood Cemetary in Brielle, NJ where I visit her weekly. We do our best to keep Hanna's resting spot beautiful. But it's time for a headstone/memorial. Hanna was a beautiful, unique, and talented person that was taken too soon; and for that, she deserves a special memorial.
The monument will be ready by the end of Fall 2015. It is a sculpture of a beautiful angel that represents Hanna, on top of a granite headstone that will read her name, dates, an epitaph, and a picture of Hanna, herself. Below will read a scipture from one of her favorite poets, Dante Alighieri. This memorial is so important to me - I can only hope it will bring me more joy than sorrow when I go to visit my sister. It's something I would want for myself - and I KNOW Hanna's soul will be filled with happiness at the sight of it.
I absolutely DREAD making one of these foundations... Asking for money. But it was recommended to me by a few friends, and I truly am in need. Unfortunately, memorials are not cheap. After all the expenses from the funeral and burial, my family is in a rough place. My mother & I are in this alone - and we don't make a whole lot of money. In order for the memorial to be placed, the charges must be paid in full. In order to acheive this goal, I have to put away $125+ a week for the next 8 months. As many people may know, I am a car salesperson; so my income varies week to week. With other bills, this may be a big struggle for me.
I ask that you help out ONLY if you can. Even if I raise enough to help me with a week's worth of savings, it will help.
I know there are people out there who loved Hanna - And I can promise no one will be disappointed when her memorial is set in stone in November. Thank you for reading. <3
