Memorial Fund in Memory of John Turnour IV

John made our lives colorful and every experience memorable and special. His endearing, charming, and pleasant personality guided him through life. John’s passing was unexpectedly sudden and his burial was private. It is still profoundly difficult to process the reality of his passing. The opportunity to express sorrow in the presence of friends and family is missing and cannot be forgotten.

For those who knew and loved John, I am starting this fundraiser for this SUPER guy.

A garden bench has been ordered and will be placed at Winterthur Library, Gardens and Museum. A brass plaque with his name and a message will be attached to the bench. John took nature walks every day while making friends with fellow walkers, tour guides and garden employees. The placement of the bench will reflect this sentiment.

Additionally, I would like to plan a memorial for John so friends and family can gather, share stories, and celebrate his life.

To anyone who donates, I am forever grateful, and will provide a full accounting of money spent. For those who cannot donate, I’m still forever grateful for your kind thoughts and prayers for John, and will share the final tributes and outcomes.
