Im fundraising for my mom has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.

My mom has been a single mother of 2 for about 30yrs and has always been a hard worker always hustling loving fearless caring kind of woman. Willing to go the extra mile for a stranger if she can help she will, not because she has to but because she wants to. She is now a Gma to a grandboy and granddaughter who bring her so much joy despite everything she is going through right now. One who masks her pain so everyone else can grieve one way or another I know she is in pain right now and she wants to be strong she wants to be that rock for her kids, family and friends, she wants us to think that she is okay, but right now we need to be strong for her we need to be that rock for her. It's our turn to hold that weight on our shoulders as she has done for some of us over the years. I remember when my dad and her mother passed she went out of her way to be there for everyone else and make sure everyone else was okay, but no one ever asked her how she was doing all while taking care of others. Always goes above and beyond. She's the person you can call at late night hrs and she will answer and be there for you. Now is her time it's time for us and everyone else to hold the fort down for her as she did for us when we needed her, she needs us now in this crucial time of her life.

To her kids, she is the mother who can move mountains and accomplish the unexplainable when no one else can she can I've seen it. She's amazing loving fearless and so caring some might say too caring but overall her heart is always in the right place. We have seen her hustling till this day to make sure that she still has a roof over our heads so when the time does come we have a place to call home no matter what. what she doesn't know is that home will always be where she is, she is our home forever. The struggles she's gone through from fighting for the house we call home and making sure the bank didn't take that away from her kids during times when we didn't have electricity or water, she still made home feel like home and hustled more than ever showed us that struggles happen but doesn't mean that you give up, you keep fighting and pushing yourself. She truly deserves the most and deserves a break if it's not one thing it's another. She doesn't need to do the things that she does for us but she wants to and that's the difference. I can't imagine my life without her she's my rock and I need to be hers now. I know I wouldn't be the independent woman I am today if it wasn't for her showing me not to give up there's always one way or another. It's time I mask the pain and show her I am here for her as she has always been for me. I don't know why this is happening to her often we ask ourselves why? GOD ALWAYS has a PLAN for US she says, this is his plan for her he seems to always put difficult situations in front of her as if he is testing her and she always surpasses them every single time she is always high spirited and even this has not brought her down. She is going to beat this as she has done everything else. Life has other plans for her and I'm trying my best to make the best of it and help in any way that I can.
