Melissa's Battle Against Breast Cancer

On January 29, 2019 our girl Melissa Locke was diagnosed with Stage 2/3 Invasive Ductual Carcinoma, otherwise known as Breast Cancer that has moved its way into her lymph nodes. On February 20, 2019 Melissa had a bilateral-mastectomy in addition to reconstruction surgery. Soon Melissa will begin 16 weeks of intensive chemotherapy, followed by radiation treatments every day for 4-6 weeks, and rounded out with 3 years of injections which will stop her ovaries from working (this type of cancer is feeding off her hormones). Of course the plan may change as she learns more details about her diagnosis, but Melissa has a LONG road ahead of her to say the least! This GoFundMe is being set up as a way to help Melissa financially as she battles (and wins!) this fight against cancer. Funds will be used for co-pays, related medical expenses, and the purchase of a Cold Cap - which is a hat that will hopefully save some of Melissa's hair loss as her chemotherapy begins.
