Hello!!! My name is Megan Job and I am on my way to medical school. My sister and I were raised by my beautiful mother  in Canarsie, Brooklyn. For my entire life she stressed the importance of academic achievement and how it can open opportunities for people who come from struggle. She was right - After receiving straight A's my entire life (From Kindergarten to High School) , I  received the Full Tuition Posse Foundation Scholarship to Middlebury College in 2017.

My transition from NYC public school to the Middlebury made me realize how powerful the effect of financial stability has on academics. It's clear as day that wealthier individuals have higher test scores due to the access of preparatory material. From my first semester in a private college, I realized I would need professional help to compete with my white counter parts that have had access to fortunate educational opportunities. 

In 3 months, I will be receiving my bachelor degree in Neuroscience and immediate next step is to start my application process for medical school, a goal I've had since I was 5 years old. 

I need help! The preparatory course that I have done extensive research for the MCAT - Advantage Test Prep has phenomenal outcomes for students who are studying for the exam. I know with all my heart I can do well, I just need to study correctly which is exactly what they know how to do. The issue is money - the same problem that has haunted me my whole life. 

I've been in contact with the head of the MCAT financial aid office and they explained how they will not be able to give me financial support. I've never been good at getting no for an answer so I'm still hustling to figure out how to afford these preparatory classes.  Absolutely any donation is appreciated and will go directly to pay for my MCAT prep classes at Advantage Test Prep. 

I've kept my grades up with hard work, the next step is securing a decent MCAT score. With that, and some intense prayer, my goal is receive another scholarship to medical school just like I did for college.
