Here is my backstory: I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in March 2014 after years of going undiagnosed with various chronic disabling symptoms. Unfortunately, because I have had Lyme Disease for 5 years now it is very difficult to treat. It requires multiple antibiotic therapies, various supplements, specific exercises and an excellent doctor.
I have seen two doctors since March 2014. While I have had improvements I have many symptoms remaining and need better treatment to reach remission from chronic Lyme Disease.
I have found a new doctor in San Diego (Chronic Lyme Disease Specialist) who I would like to treat me and who I think can help me reach full health. However, this doctor is not in my current health insurance network, so the costs will be high.
I am asking for your support during this time. I appreciate your prayers, and encouragement and I am also asking for any financial support that you may be able to provide.
Finally, I understand that chronic Lyme Disease is not very well known or even understood, so I would like to provide any information for you that you may need to better understand my situation and to spread awareness for Chronic Lyme Disease.
