Medical help for Rabbi Siegel

I’m Rivka Herrera, a student and friend of Rabbi Siegel. On September 20, 2023, he experienced a stroke, leading to a challenging journey of recovery. Despite initial hopes, complications arose due to holiday timing and communication gaps from the rehab. His family has provided unwavering support, but insurance hurdles now impede accessing the necessary care.

Currently, Rabbi Siegel is at a critical juncture, requiring 24-hour care. Though a dedicated aide is present for four hours daily, more assistance is needed. The complexity of his condition demands continuous attention, and Rebbetzin Sima is doing her best, but support is essential.

Efforts are underway to manage costs, including assistance with paperwork. Our goal is to assemble a comprehensive care team and acquire essential equipment for Rabbi’s recovery.

Rabbi has been a light for so many. Now is our time to be an unfailing light for him.
