Vickie Thaxton, she has worked for trousdale co high school since 1994 as maintenance. She has a big impact on a lot of children that come through that school. Some know her as Vickie and even more know her as nanny. She still works everyday that she doesn’t have an appointment. 

In 2023 we got the news that she had breast and bone cancer and it was already stage 4. She started chemo medication and after 2.5 years we found out it is spreading into the liver. Know they had to change from taking medication at home to going in for chemotherapy once a week and scans more often.
