UPDATE: on 12/28 early this morning we did have to put our baby down. She was in critical condition and her body was failing here… my parents paid thousands to help save her life, so anything would be appreciated & used to pay her medical bills.. thank you
On 12/8, our family went through a heartbreaking accident. Around 2:25 PM, while my parents were unloading groceries, one of our Yorkies accidentally slipped outside. Tragically, a car drove through our street without stopping and struck her. *She is now back in the hospital and in critical condition.
When we first rushed her to the vet on 12/8, she did not have a detectable heartbeat. The veterinary team immediately provided emergency care, including oxygen, X-rays, bloodwork, and pain medication. At that time, there was no visible bone damage and no confirmed internal bleeding, but the full extent of her injuries was unclear. But she’s been a fighter.
She was brought home where I monitored her closely. While she showed signs of improvement, her condition has remained unstable. Yesterday she showed concerns and noticeable possible complications from the impact, she has now been readmitted to the hospital for closer monitoring and continued treatment.. however they are considering her now in critical condition.
My parents (their dog) and myself are absolutely devastated and overwhelmed, and the veterinary bills continue to grow.. Any funds raised will go directly toward her hospitalization, better diagnostics, medications, and hopefully ongoing care.
If you’re able to donate, share, or even send positive thoughts or prayers, it would mean the world to our family. Every little bit truly helps, and we are so grateful for any support during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you ❤️
