My name is Chelsea from Houston, TX. On March 12, 2016, one of my best friends, Meagan, was attacked and beaten badly in the driveway of her home. During the attack she was hit in the face and on her head repeatedly with a silver MagLite flashlight. This resulted in a lot of dental injuries. She has been unable close her mouth and can hardly eat. Her teeth are pushed back and some broken/missing. Meagan needs emergency dental surgery because of her injuries. Meagan is the first to befriend everyone and give the shirt off her back for any person and any animal. She cares so much about the happiness of others and is always willing to help, volunteer, fundraiser, and give to others without asking for anything in return. Her beautiful smile and radiant energy is unforgettable. It's our time to give back to Meagan. She need our love and support to help her get the surgery that she needs ASAP and through her healing process. Her surgery is going to be expensive and any amount you can donate will help. Here is what happened in Meagan's words:
"Last night I was attacked parked in my driveway in the heights, right off of 45. The guy tried to impersonate a police officer. He was around 5'7-5'10, maybe 30's, chubby, buzzed hair, either white or light skinned Hispanic and dressed in all black, looked just like a cop uniform but his badges and patches were not correct, more like a security guard. He was in an early 2000's white single cab pickup truck..a Ford or a Chevy. When I questioned the guy he pulled his gun and put it inside my window to my face. He demanded my purse. Told me he was going to shoot me. He beat me in the face/head with a heavy duty silver flashlight then fired his gun, which missed me, and ran off to his truck. I chased after him where he shot at me 3 more times, again missing me. I'm lucky to be alive. Pretty injured, but alive. If you live in the heights, please be weary of this description..and please be careful coming home last at night."
