Hello, my name is Kernika, and I’m reaching out for help during a challenging time in our lives. Earlier this year, in February, I was laid off from my job. Just a few months later, in August, our family was blessed with the arrival of our newest member. While we are overjoyed with our baby, we are struggling to make ends meet.

Our financial situation has become increasingly difficult, particularly due to the medical bills for our oldest daughter, who has hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a condition where fluid accumulates in the brain, leading to increased pressure inside the skull. Since she was born, our daughter has had eight surgeries to manage this condition. While insurance has covered most of the expenses, we are still left with a significant amount of debt.
